Mr. John D. MacLeod (Folsom, California) has 25 years experience serving public boards and commission for the State of California. Most recently, Mr. MacLeod served eight years and retired as the Executive Officer of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board. Prior to his service with the Standards Board, he served as the Executive Director of the Hospital Building Safety Board, which followed his work for the Seismic Safety Commission in developing seismic safety policy for the State of California. Mr. MacLeod attained the rank of Major in the Air Force Reserves as a command pilot. Mr. MacLeod received his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and Masters of Public Administration from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California. |

Dr. Jonathan Frisch (San Francisco, California) is the Principal Risk Manager in Enterprise Risk Management and Insurance at PG&E Corporation. He has been with PG&E and its subsidiary, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, since 1999. He manages the Corporation's Enterprise Risk Management program. He has previously advised the utility on health, chemical, and biological safety program implementation, and on policy and process issues in health and safety. His prior positions include Health Sciences Manager at the American Petroleum Institute in Washington DC and Manager of Epidemiology and Regulatory Health Programs at the Unocal Corporation in Los Angeles. He is a Fellow of the American College of Epidemiology, and a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, the American Public Health Association, Sigma Xi, and other professional associations. Dr. Frisch has a Ph.D. in Epidemiology, a Masters degree in Public Health, and a Bachelor's degree in Biophysics and Medical Physics, all from the University of California at Berkeley. |

Mr. William Jackson (Royal Oaks, California) is the Director of Safety for Granite Construction Incorporated, one of America's largest diversified heavy civil contractors and construction materials producers. Mr. Jackson, a Certified Safety Professional, has been with Granite's Safety Department for more than 30 years. He is responsible for the development and administration of accident prevention and regulatory compliance policies for the company's operating divisions and subsidiaries. Mr. Jackson is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, a past Chairman of both the Safety and Health committee of the Associated General Contractors of California and the National Construction Safety Executives. During most of his career, Mr. Jackson has been actively involved in the development of safety and health standards, participating in the rulemaking processes of OSHA, MSHA and Cal/OSHA for more than 25 years. Mr. Jackson previously served as a member of the California Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board from 1992 to 2001. |

Mr. John Kastorff (Carmichael, California) has over 30 years of experience in the safety profession and currently serves as risk control manager for Gregory B. Bragg and Associates, where he has worked since 1989. Kastorff previously was a loss control manager for United Pacific Reliance Insurance from 1986 to 1989 and held the same position for Industrial Indemnity Insurance from 1980 to 1986. He also served as a loss control manager for Lachman and Associates from 1977 to 1980. Kastorff is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, National Fire Protection Agency and the American College of Forensic Examiners. |

Mr. Jose Moreno, (Fremont, California) is the Business Manager of the Northern California District I Council of Laborers. Mr. Moreno holds other positions within the laborers' union and labor sector. Mr. Moreno's current appointments and positions include Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Northern California Laborers' Training Fund; Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Northern California Laborers'; Pension and Health & Welfare Funds; Co-Chair of the LIUNA Latino Caucus Committee; and Vice President of the California Labor Federation. Mr. Moreno earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary's College. Mr. Moreno is serving his second term on the Board. He was originally appointed July 3, 2002. |

Mr. Steve Rank, (Roseville, California) is the Director of Safety and Health for the Safety Institute of the District Council of Ironworkers of the State of California and Vicinity, the California Ironworkers Employers Council, and the Western Steel Council. In 1994, he was appointed to the OSHA Steel Erection Negotiated Rulemaking Advisory Committee for the Federal OSHA. Mr. Rank was responsible for developing a series of training modules on steel erection, precast concrete erection, and reinforcing steel installation for the National Iron Workers Training Fund and the NEA - The Association of Union Constructors. In May 2003, Mr. Rank was appointed to serve on the California Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board as a labor representative. Mr. Rank is an instructor for the National Iron Workers and Employers Apprenticeship Training and Journeyman Upgrading Fund. Mr. Rank is a member of the Iron Workers and a graduate of Central Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technology. Mr. Rank served as Chair of the standards board from August 2003 through December 2005. Mr. Rank was originally appointed to the Board May 21, 2003. |

Mr. Willie Washington (Sacramento, California) has served as a consultant on workplace issues for the California Manufacturers and Technology Association. Washington previously served as director of human resources, safety and health and workers' compensation for the California Manufacturers and Technology Association from 1987 to 2005. Prior to that, he was a regional manager of human resources for Pittsburgh-Des Moines Steel. Washington also served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years. |
